Siteground offers free business email address, but I prefer using Zohomail because it’s free and offers great features that anyone needs in a professional email for their small business. Their free account lets you create up to 10 free business email address, and mailbox size is 5Gb. In this guide, I will be sharing how you can create your company email address for free using Zohomail and Siteground.
Even if you are not ready with your Website at this moment, you can still create business email address and use it. To start with, you need to have a Siteground account that also comes with free domain name. You can signup for a Siteground account with free domain for life using below link.

Guide to Create Business Email Accounts Using Zohomail:
So here is the scenario:
- Your Domain is purchased from Siteground.
- If not, you can change your Domain name-server purchased from anywhere to Siteground, and this tutorial would work.
Go to this link and click on Signup under the free plan. On the next page, you need to add the domain name for which you want professional email address.
- Click on add domain and the next page fill up your account details.
Click on Sign-up, and you will get a successful screen like below. You need to verify domain ownership to move on to the next step.
Verify domain ownership:
There are multiple ways by which you can verify domain ownership. If your website is live, I will recommend using HTML method that is the simple and fastest of all. If not, you can just edit your domain CNAME or TXT record and follow the instruction to point it to Zohomail for verification. (You can use either of the three).
In my case, I used HTML verification method and verified domain ownership in one minute. Once your domain verification is done, next step is to start creating business email address for your domain. You can create up to 10 free business email address.
Click on next, and you can create groups if require. If not, click next, and you will be on the page that says change MX record. This is a significant step as after setting up MX record you will be able to send and receive emails using your newly created domain specific email address.
On the change MX record page, click on Proceed to Point MX (Mail eXchange) and you will see the required MX record which you need to setup.
Setting up MX record on Siteground Hosting:
Login to your Siteground hosting cPanel and click on Advanced MX editor under mail tab.
On the next page, select the domain name for which you want to configure MX record. Scroll down to the MX records and delete all existing MX records.
Once you deleted existing MX records, click on Add new record and enter destination and priority as suggested by Zohomail MX record page.

Now go back to the Zohomail configuration page and click on next to complete the step. That’s it, and now your business email is up and running using Zohomail and Siteground hosting.
To access your email account, you can download Zohomail smartphone app. They have an iOS app and Android app too. You can also access your email online by going to this URL: https://mail.zoho.com/portal/
With that, you have configured your business email address successfully. Now, it’s time for you to take your business to next level.
